Due to continued growth out client are looking for a capable Quality Inspector to join the business and support the department in ensuring world class operations. As Quality Inspector you will be responsible for supporting the Quality team in ensuring both inbound materials and finished goods meet specifications. The Quality Inspector will play a critical part of developing the culture and attitude to quality in linewith delivering an outstanding product and customer experience.The successful Quality Inspector will be joining a well-established and growing company offering great opportunities to learn and progress.The role of Quality Inspector will require you to:* Engage with goods in to ensure both raw material and sub contract manufactured parts meet required standards ahead of processing* Perform a variety of inspection processes including NDT and the use of measurement tools like Vernier gauges to verify product dimensions and integrity* Collect data and update company records and the quality management systems* Liaise with internal and external support as required* Identify and recommend opportunities to improve processes to deliver improvements to quality.* Developing a positive culture around qualityThis position of Quality Inspector is well suited to someone who:* Has previous experience working within manufacturing in a quality role* Ideally has experience of NDT inspection or Metrology as part of their work* Has experience of engineering drawings or checking against specifications and the ability to interpret these as part of your work* Wants to progress and develop as a professional.* Communicates well and wants to engage at all levels in a business.The Company:* Well established* Progressive culture* Great training* Generous holidays* Superb pension* Early finish on a FridayConsortium Professional Recruitment Ltd are a professional level recruitment consultancy specialising in the delivery of high relevance recruitment services on behalf of our clients across the UK.
