Job Description

We are working with a leading scientific manufacturing company based in South Cambridge who are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position and occasional travel could be required.Key responsibilities will include:

Support with the continual product design and development lifecycle.
Use 3D Solidworks for product design.
Create prototypes for review and analysis.
Comply with industry standards and regulations.
Test and evaluate designs.
Design and review jigs and fixtures.
Collaborate with wider teams to assist with system integrations.

The Successful candidate will have:

Mechanical Engineering Degree BSc / BEng / HND qualification or relevant experience.
3 + years engineering experience.
Experience with 3D Cad, Solidworks, GD&T and PDM.
Excellent communicational and organisational skills.
Experience taking idea through to execution.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
