Job Description

Our client, one of the most successful independently owned dealerships in the region, are expanding their Chepstow team and require an additional Management Accountant. You will be responsible for producing management accounts, overseeing accounting andreconciling monthly balance sheets alongside other accounting duties. This position is ideal for a Management Accountant with experience in the motor trade or an Assistant Management Accountant looking for career progression.Duties:

Oversee and produce management accounts
Reconcile the monthly balance sheet
Provide support for non-finance managers
Assist in the maintenance of the kerridge system
Ensure full compliance with group accounting standards
Assist in the preparation of files and returns for both internal and external audits

The ideal candidate will:

Have excellent communication skills
Have previous relevant experience related to accounting
Be organised and have good attention to detail
Be self-motivated, analytical and deadline driven
Have held a similar role as a management accountants or working with accounts in the Motor Industry and experience working within a centralised team
Prior experience working with accounts and management accounts
