Job Description

Location - Home based with Occasional travel to other GEA UK sites/ dealersPosition -Reporting to Director Business ChangeFT UKKey responsibilities are: Ensure efficient running of the order desk/sales support function Answering telephone calls Timely and accurate processing of sales orders in SAP & SalesPlus (in house system) Log sales information into CRM Project manage larger orders from point of order to delivery to site Work closely with Internal Customs Coordinator to coordinate deliveries for imports and exports Issue POs for materials and services in line with company guidelines Book stock into SAP Monitor stock levels in various locations and make adjustments as necessary Issue invoices, credit notes and any other required billing documents Liaise with customers and suppliers to provide excellent customer service Deal with internal and external customer/supplier enquiries regarding orders, deliveries, materials, availability, prices etc. Manage warranty and general claims in SAP and SalesPlus Maintain master data records for customers, suppliers and materials Create/amend part numbers and prices as required Monitor, approve and allocate supplier invoices and credit notes Create letters to be issued to customers on various topics Work with Finance to ensure accurate processing of all finance related tasks Keeping accurate digital records and maintaining good housekeeping Provide general administrative support to sales and technical teams Generate monthly order, warranty and stock reports to measure performance Assist in creating info / documentation packs for staff and customers Assist in gathering data for monthly sales reports Collect data for quarterly figures to be submitted to MEA Maintain and develop training packs for GEAs various in house systems/processes Carry out training for internal staff/dealers on GEAs systems/procedures Write/update guidelines for ISO Standards Work on ad-hoc projects in accordance with business requirementsQualifications: A-Levels or equivalent Good working knowledge of SAP an advantage Previous experience in a customer service roleSkills & Experience: Quick learner with a willingness to learn Keen eye for detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good numeracy skills Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams Self-driven with the ability to work on own initiative Flexible and proactive approach with ability to problem solve Good team player with the ability to work in remote teamsPackage: 37 Hours per week (08.30-17.00 Mon to Thurs, 08:30-16:30 Fri) Company Pension (after successful probation period) Company Healthcare (after 12 months) 25 Days Annual Leave (3 Days to be saved for Christmas shutdown)
