Job Description

Were looking for two motivated Warehouse Team Leaders to lead and inspire our teams at our Distribution Centre in Marston Gate.Youll be responsible for motivating a team of circa 80 Warehouse Operatives as they process goods in to ensure we exceed all internal and external customer expectations and productivity targets.Both of these positions are permanent 40-hour roles working Monday to Friday working either dayshift hours of 05:00 - 13:00 or 06:00 - 14:00 or the late shift hours 15:00 - 23:00 with flexibility to move forward/backwards by 1-2 hours as when required.About the role

To motivate a team of warehouse operatives to meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators.
To ensure appropriate orders/instructions are processed in a timely manner
To coach and carryout on the job training for warehouse operatives.
To carryout effective measurement of team performance.
To ensure the team comply with health, safety and environmental procedures
Resource planning for Team

About youWere looking for people that have gained previous experience as a Team Leader or gained Supervisory experience in managing and looking after a team as this will be key to success in this role.If you have gained your supervisory experience within a warehouse environment, this would be desirable, but is not essential as we welcome applications from outside the industry and warehouse environments.If you have gained any experience in Material Handling Equipment and in working to KPIs and SLAs this would be desirable, but is not essential.About your development and benefitsWe aim to unlock your potential and equip you with all the skills required to move to the next stage in your career with us.
