Job Description

My client is looking for an experienced Operations Manager who can launch and manage a new area of the business for our well-established client based in Crewe.This is an amazing opportunity for the right candidate who can make the role their own and establish their place in a business operating in one of the most exciting and fast paced industries.The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience within operational management ideally within a business where physical stock is moved from receipt to sale, managing all the processes in between always ensuring customer satisfaction.This role will pay between £28,000 and £35,000 for the right candidate.The roles involves:

  • Establishing and managing the operational requirements of the new area of the business buying and selling refurbished mobile phones in UK and Europe.
  • Putting in place a series systems and controls to ensure timely execution of daily operations including listing, dispatch and returns process.
  • Understanding the need for compliance within a regulated industry and ensuring that there are internal systems and controls in place to ensure
  • Aligning this operation with the existing business.
  • Managing the customer service and returns function of the new business
  • Analysis of the stock and sales forecasting, minimizing stock run outs and maximizing profit margins from available stock
  • Implementation of competitive pricing based on market research and competitor analysis / comparison.
  • Monitoring of and response to reviews and feedback.
Skills required:
  • Pro-active, motivated, ambitious and confident.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills at all levels.
  • Tenacious and Persistent, using own initiative and going the extra mile.
  • Articulate and able to present.
  • Work in a collaborative manner, able to lead a team and co-operate with requirements of seniors.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Packages and ability to adapt to different Information systems and platforms.
