Trainee ParaplannerParaplanningMidlands (Remote, but Midlands based to facilitate approx. once per month office attendance)Salary: to £30,000 dep on exp + benefits (job ref AL1229)We are looking for a Trainee Paraplanner to join a growing team within this expanding IFA Group. Trainee Paraplanners are expected to write suitability reports to support planners ensuring client service and compliance aredelivered. Applications are invitedfrom individuals who already have experience in the Wealth Management industry and have already commenced their CII qualifications.Key AccountabilitiesParaplanning Support:Prepare and maintain client files and client reviews.Prepare recommendations and suitability reports- basic suitability reports for withdrawals, top ups, switches, Bed to ISA etc.Identify areas for planning (produce a pre review summary if required)Fund AnalysisObtain illustration, application forms, KFD and other supporting information.Tax calculationsDeal effectively with queries from clients and other parties.Liaise with clients legal and tax advisers (if applicable)Oversee implementation of recommendations, completion of application forms and ensure all compliance is in order.Mifid:Gather Information required forMifid.CompleteMifidSpreadsheets and lettersPerson SpecificationKnowledge:Excellent understanding of the financial planning process.Good technical knowledge in a wide range of product areas - pensions, investments, IHT planning, tax planning, protection.Excellent suitability report writing skills.Able to keep up to date with new product, technical and legislative changes within the marketplace.Experience:Experience working in Financial Services.Qualifications:Must have started their level 4 diploma and have achieved 1-2 passes.Skills / Personal AttributesProficient IT skills.
