Job Description

Regional Property Manager - LettingsMarket Harborough£35,000 - £40,000Our highly successful and forward-thinking client is looking to recruit and experienced Property Manager.Duties:

  • Support a team and deal with all property management related issues in Residential Lettings with a current total of 750 properties.
  • Oversee and support a team of Property Managers with day-to-day tasks.
  • Provide property management and tenancy support services to landlords and tenants.
  • Undertake duties in line with signed Terms of Business, particular focus on co-ordinating property maintenance.
  • Ensure that all properties comply with current legislation (EPC’s, Gas Safety Certificates, Electrical Safety Certificates, PAT Testing)
  • Liaise with contractors/outsourcing resources to ensure repair/maintenance works are carried out to a satisfactory standard and timescale.
  • Ensure routine and additional property visits/checks are carried out in the required time trace and report findings to the Landlord.
  • Arrange and carry out check out inspections at the end of the tenancy.
  • Draw up a schedule of costs based on checkout report.
  • Mediate and negotiate between the parties regarding the release of the deposit.
  • Ensure that relevant payments are instructed promptly and properly regarding contractors, deposits and landlord bills.
  • Chase rent arrears provide updates and advice to the landlords.
  • Handle possession claims and attend court hearings.
  • Prepare relevant notices following instruction from either landlords or tenants.
  • Conduct work in line with company standards and requirements.
Skills & Experience Experience of at least 5 years in Property Management.Understanding and experience with Deposit disputes.2 years’ Experience of managing a team.Up to date knowledge of legislation regarding property management.Able to work as part of a team, supporting other team members and recognising the work of others.Full driving licence and access to own vehicle.Articulate, professional and well accustomed to a client facing role.Sharp, enthusiastic, and accountable.Working knowledge of Microsoft packages and good keyboard skills.
