Job Description

Do you have the skills and knowledge to deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of each pupilAre you looking for a new and rewarding challenge in a supportive and inclusive SEMH schoolIf you answered yes to these questions, then we want to hear from you!We are looking for a class teacher to join our specialist partner school in Spalding, Lincolnshire as soon as possible. The role will involve teaching a group of up to 8 pupils, who have a range of SEMH needs including Anxiety.The school offers a personalised curriculum that is tailored to the interests, abilities, and aspirations of each pupil. The school also provides therapeutic interventions, to support the pupils’ emotional and physical wellbeing.To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working with and teaching pupils with SEMH needs and/or other special educational needs.
  • A nurturing, calm approach to pupil management
  • Excellent classroom management, communication, interpersonal and rapport building skills.
  • High levels of resilience, with a desire to provide consistency for young people from disadvantaged backgrounds. Ultimately, ensuring that all pupils receive their full education entitlement.
