Painter & Maintenance OperativeFull Time Permanent37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm.Salary £18,000 - £20,000 per annum, 20 days holidays plus bank holidaysLocation: Ferrara Quay, Maritime Quarter, Swansea, SA1 1UQResidential Management Group is a large, well respected property management company with a portfolio that spans over 110,000 households across the UK.The Role of The Painter & Maintenance Operative:Ensure that internal communal hallways and where required, external window frames etc are kept in good repair and maintained in accordance with the lease. Also to be a point of contact for residents regarding on site issues as part of a team to ensure that the development is a pleasant clean, safe and tidy environment for residents and visitors as well as a pleasant work place for yourself and the team. This will require a presentable, welcoming, polite, courteous and professional image at all times. You may also be required to undertake additional duties as dependent on business needs and on the request or absence of the caretaker.Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Painter & Maintenance Operative:Undertake small plasterwork repairs.Being committed to Health & Safety in all instances.The ability to lift required equipment in order to undertake duties (within laid down company procedures).The ability to work at height within laid down policy documentation.Ensure that the security of the development is maintained where practical.Ensure that the perimeters of the Blocks and car park area are regularly inspected during the day and report any anomalies to the caretaker/property manager.Promote the customer contact centre to residents with regards to non maintenance and other issues dealt with on site, e.g. accounts, collections, solicitors enquiries etc.Skills and Experience Required of the Painter & Maintenance Operative:Painting & Decorating qualification would be advantageousEstate or building management experienceStrong communication skillsBasic carpentry skills would be an advantage.Basic masonry repair abilities would be an advantage.To Apply for the Painter & Maintenance role please click APPLYKey Words: Painter & Decorator, Maintenance, Property Management, Estate Management, Property Maintenance
