The team at Beresford Gardens is a very new team and requires induction and direction. Upper Dane Road has an experienced and well-establishedteam. This service is supported living, made up of three individual flats. Across both of the services, the people we support have complex needs, challenging behaviours, autism, some communication needs and dysphagia. Within both of the services, there areboth male and female service users with a mix of male and female staff.Both services are in central Margate with good transport links and a range of shops in the local vicinity. Beresford Gardens is located 2 minutes from Palm Bay and within a short walk to the sea front. Upper Dane is close to all amenities and within a shortwalk to the local town.In this role you will motivate and inspire your team to provide outstanding support through effective training, coaching, and leadership by example. Acting as a role model you will empower the people we support to have active and fulfilling lives alignedwith their needs and aspirations. You will be responsible for transitions of the people we support, Rotas, support plans, managing budgets, and monthly reports as well as recruitment, development and management of staff.Due to the role, a majority of the working week will be Monday-Friday 9-5; however, there is some flexibility to adjust these hours across the week to suit the service. There could be some occasional shift work where you will need to observe practices andensure standards are being maintained across the services.About you;

• Experience supporting individuals who have learning disabilities and behaviours that challenge.
• Have minimum of 2 years experience of supervising/managing a staff team within social care/support living service.
• Working knowledge of CQC and other relevant regulations.
• To be flexible and be able to work shifts if required.
• To be able to participate in the on call Rota.
• Driver preferable but not essential.
• Some IT skills.
• Be Flexible to complete on-call shifts.
