Job Description

Join us as we continue to shape the future of entertainment.As Management Accountant, you will be a key member of the Margate Factory Finance team, providing financial expertise to the organization by compiling and analyzing data, identifying trends and problems, communicating information to the factory managementteam, and recommending actions to improve financial performance for the Margate site. You will work with the Margate Finance team to help prepare financial reporting of the site to ensure that reporting is compliant with both internal and external financialstandards.Your responsibilities:

  • Ensuring timely and efficient communication with the site management team to identify and discuss issues and suggestions for improvement.
  • Optimizing performance to increase productivity by developing KPI’s to measure factory performance and developing automated solutions.
  • Establishing and overseeing processes and tools to obtain transparent and reliable financial data + business information.
  • Monitor variation and trends in actual production costs compared to bill-of-material standards and/or estimates. Recommend standard changes or corrective action in the production process where necessary to attain desired standards.
  • Collaborate with Finance leadership on development of the annual preparation of standard labor, overhead burden rates, related inventory revaluation, and monthly forecasting processes. Ensure that processes are followed and in line with Internal controldocumentation.
  • Maintaining audit trails and documentation for future audits and reviews.
  • Spearhead the establishment of a robust standard cost system in our current NetSuite ERP.
  • Oversee product Bill of Materials (BOMs), routings, and master data for constant standard cost updates.
  • Produce monthly reports, reconciling COGS, gross margins, and other financial aspects.
  • Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and margin analysis activities.
  • Streamline inventory accounting, ensuring accuracy in work order costing and inventory transactions.
  • Take charge of planning physical inventory activities.
  • Define and enhance internal controls, including shipping/receiving cut-offs.
  • Unearth areas for cost savings, ensuring the achievement of reduction plans.
  • Engage in and support the organization’s continuous improvement culture.
Your background:We are seeking somebody with :-
  • Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Excel.
  • Experience in use of Oracle NetSuite would also be preferred, but not essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A driven, hardworking individual who is keen to drive the business forward and face new challenges.
  • Analytical Thinker: You see numbers and you see a story, understanding the intricacies of business costs.

Education & Experience:
  • Experience in an accounting role in a manufacturing environment, required.
  • 3+ years of cost accounting.
