Pay:Competitive salary dependent on experience StartDate: Immediate Thisis an excellent opportunity for someone enthusiastic and innovative to developan outstanding library provision here at Hartsdown. Thesuccessful candidate will undertake the day-to-day running of the schoollibrary provision under the direction of the school Literacy Lead. Specificduties will include overseeing the maintenance and use of the school library,including the Accelerated Reader and Lexia provision, facilitatinglibrary-based learning and supporting the delivery of literacy interventionsfor low ability learners. Theideal candidate will have experience of working with children, ideally ofsecondary age, hold Level 2 or 3 NVQ Teaching Assistant qualification (orequivalent) and GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent qualification).Applicantsmust have good knowledge of policies and procedures relating to SpecialEducational Needs, child protection, health, safety, security, equalopportunities and confidentiality.
