Start Date: February 2021 Pay: Kent Range 4 We are a large inclusive primary school withover 800 pupils with a rising roll. We are seeking to appoint aLearning Mentor to join our Inclusion team to support our most vulnerablechildren with their emotional well-being, behaviour and academic achievement.The post holder will work directly with childrenfrom Foundation Stage to Year 6 and will also be required to providelunchtime supervision. The post is for 30 hours per week (6 hours a day,Monday to Friday) and term time only (38 weeks per year). The pay scale isKent Range 4 at £18,129 per annum for a full-time position which equates toapproximately £12,318 per annum pro rata. In addition, the postholder willreceive a payment in respect of their pro rata entitlement to Annual Leaveappropriate to their grade, Bank Holidays and the KCC concessionary day.It is essential that candidates have a minimum oftwo years experience working with primary aged children and can demonstrateeffective communication skills. Experience of working within a Nurture Groupwould also be desirable. We require a good standard of general education andGCSE qualifications in English and Mathematics at Grade C or above. Verificationof qualifications will be required before employment can commence so please donot declare any qualifications unless you can produce the originalcertificate. A formal thirty minute interview will takeplace with a panel comprising of two members of the Leadership Team.
