As the world’s leading manufacturer and supplier of this product we are passionate about our focus on safety and quality and committed to continuous improvement and technical innovation to ensure we remain the supplier of choice to our global customers.About the Role: An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with relevant experience gained within a heavy industrial engineering background to join our team. The role involves routine maintenance, fault finding and installation on a wide variety of production equipment involved in the manufacture of solid woven conveyor belting. This ranges from textile equipment to heavy duty presses and rubber processing.Working PatternWe have continuous production operating from 6am Monday through to 6pm Thursday with additional shifts operating Fridays and Saturdays as required.You will initially work 7am to 4pm (paid breaks included) Monday to Thursday, however, due to the support required, your working hours may vary in line with production requirements. You must be flexible and be able to work other shift patterns including 12-hour days, overtime and the occasional night shift.About You:Applicants will be apprentice trained having a broad background in factory plant installation and maintenance of heavy industrial machinery, ideally having multi-skill training with a knowledge of electrical isolation. You will have mechanical skills acquired with formal training and have knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.You will also hold a qualification in English and Math’s at GCSE Grade C or equivalent, be comfortable with working with Microsoft Office programs and will be familiar with CMMS.
