Job Description

Copywriter / External Communications Mansfield£18-21k Depending on experienceWorking as part of the wider marketing team - we have an excellent opportunity for a marketing assistant or graduate looking to make that next step in their communications career.Reporting in to the head of external affairs your role as copywriter / external communications will involve -

  • Campaign planning/scoping
  • Assisting with the drafting of material for editorial, websites, blog posts, Competent Person magazine articles, press releases, briefing notes and create E-bulletins using Email Marketing Software
  • Assist with the drafting of BLOG content and upload, release and promote.
  • Collate and analyse data results and provide reports. This includes the use of survey monkey and excel.
  • Draft direct mail and correspondence as and when requested using correct company terminology and branding.
The ideal candidate for the role of copywriter / external communications -
  • An experienced marketing copywriter or recent graduate
  • Experience using Email Marketing Software, e.g. Dotmailer, Wordpress etc.
  • Eye for detail/experience of proofreading
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills with creativity, imagination and initiative
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
