Job Description

Trainee ManagerAn exciting position has become available for a full time Trainee Manager to join our friendly team based in Essex (CO11 2NJ). If you have a proven background of working within the Learning Disability environment including supporting a wide range of individuals with multiple conditions then this is a perfect opportunity to grow your career and to work within a fantastic environment.Role Requirements

  • Proven background of working within the Learning Disability environment supporting a wide range of individuals with multiple conditions including those on the autistic spectrum
  • Be compliant with relevant legislation including CQC Standards and Regulations, Safeguarding Processes, DOLs and Health & Safety
  • Ability to ensure the home is operational at all time; good organisational, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible approach to working including the ability to undertake planned and reactive on-call across the service
  • To lead by example with proven leadership and management skills, able to deliver flexible 1:1 care and support
  • Ability to implement, maintain and review all documentation to support person centred care and Organisational Processes
  • Achieved NVQ 4/equivalent in this area/field
  • Role Responsibilities
  • Continue to strengthen the Organisation’s purpose/objectives providing high quality care
  • Receive ongoing mentorship from and support from the Senior Management team
  • Supporting a wide range of individuals with multiple conditions including those on the autistic spectrum
  • Implement, maintain and review all documentation to support person centred care and Organisational Processes
  • Lead by example
