Semi Senior Accountant – VR/21698The Company & Role:Small family run Accountancy firm based in Manningtree with a 16 year history, are seeking an experienced Semi Senior Accountant to join their busy firm to take over from a long term member of staff who retiring.This role would suit an AAT/ACCA qualified/part qualified or qualified by experience with Tax experience and from a practice background.In time the owner will be looking at handing over more responsibility to you as one of his staff will be retiring.You should also be willing to help out with general duties when other members of staff are unavailable.The Role of Semi Senior Accountant:

Experience or some knowledge of Tax Calc, Microsoft Office and 12pay

Good general tax awareness in relation to payroll, deadlines, VAT returns, Income Tax returns

Excellent oral and written communication skills and with attention to detail

Self-starter who can work on own initiative

Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload

Ability to work as part of a team as well as work on own initiative as and when required

Building long term relationships with colleagues & clients

Ongoing learning, training & personal improvement

Providing a ‘Wow Factor’ customer service

Skills Needed for the Semi Senior Account role:

AAT/ACCA Qualified/qualified by experience

Tax experience

QuickBooks/Sage/Excel Software skills
