Job Title - Technical Business AnalystSalary - £35,000 to £45,000Location - Emersons Green, BristolWorking Hours - Permanent, Full Time 37 hrs per week 09:00 - 17:00 (early finish on Friday)We operate hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days in the office each week, however, a candidate that prefers to be in the office full time is very desirable.The CompanyWorking for a vibrant, diverse and inclusive international Software firm who very much focus on the wellbeing of their staff, our client is a growing leading provider of Infrastructure Asset Management software in the UK and to users worldwide.The RoleWorking with the wider team, this role will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions to new and existing clients to meet client requirements. This role involves understanding client business objectives, processes,and requirements, and translating these into technical specifications that the Business Development Team and Developers can deliver against.Key Responsibilitieso Collaborate with client users and conduct research to gather and analyse requirements, including prioritisation.o Create detailed requirement specifications/ User stories and supporting documentation.o Liaise with Business Development and software developers to assess options, clarify concerns and agree solution designs.o Manage change requests and evaluate their impact on existing features and requirements.o Support testing addressing queries that arise during the testing process and carrying out functional testing against storieso Implement customer requirements by creating tables, columns, forms and workflow in our application (similar to designing a MS Access application)o Adhere to best working practices as defined in ISO and company Policies.o Any other task as directed by the Line Manager.Role CriteriaEssentialo Proven eligibility to work in the UK.o Minimum HND or NVQ Level 3/4 in a science based subject.o A Level Maths, or similaro A Level English, or similar, with good grammar and attention to detail.o A degree in Computer Science or equivalent.Skills and Expertiseo Ability to confidently communicate technical/non-technical issues with clients.o Experience in capturing client requirements and generating quality User stories.o Logical and Analytical mindset to understand business needs and translate to technical solution.o Knowledge of testing principles/concepts/ techniques.o Familarity with Relational Database designo Experience with JIRA or Similar software.o Agile PM experienceo SSADM Practitioner or equivalent.Previous experience/ knowledgeo Proven experience as Business Analyst in Software Sector or as Technical Business Analyst.o Ability to accurately specify client technical requirements for Development Team.o Experience troubleshooting technical issues or documenting for Dev Team to resolve.o Testing across Microsoft Windows, Web, iOS and Android Platforms.o Working knowledge of programming and/or query language.o Previous experience working with ISO (9001 & 27001) would be advantageous.Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role.Special attributeso Ability to self-motivate and self-manage working both independently and within the wider Business Dev Team.Personal Qualitieso Team Player who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.o Ability to multi-task, prioritise & keep calm.Salary & Benefits" Up to £45,000 per annum (depending on experience)" Holiday entitlement increases with service" Annual Pay Review" Annual Bonus" Pension Scheme" Training opportunities" Plus, Many More!If you are interested please click APPLYRequired skills
