Job Description

Job Title: WordPress DeveloperLocation: Remote (Occasional travel to North West office)Salary: Up to £50,000 (Depending on Experience)Reporting To: Senior Marketing Manager/Head of BusinessThis is a brilliant opportunity for a skilled individual to be a part of one of the most exciting industries in todays job market.One of my clients is looking for a WordPress Developer to join their growing IT team!The ideal candidate will possess an extensive understanding of front-end programming languages, a keen sense of aesthetics, and proficient content management abilities. They will be capable of crafting visually appealing and user-friendly websites that preciselyfulfil the clients design and functionality requirements.Please note, this company does not offer sponsorship so you will need to have the full right to work in the UK.Responsibilities:

  • Engaging in client meetings to explore website design and functionality
  • Crafting and constructing the front-end of the website
  • Establishing the website structure and framework
  • Developing and overseeing the content management system (CMS), incorporating database and server integration
  • Producing WordPress themes and plugins
  • Executing performance tests on the website to ensure optimal functionality
  • Resolving content-related problems
  • Delivering WordPress training sessions to clients
  • Monitoring the ongoing performance of the live website
Requirements:
  • Proficient grasp of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
  • Demonstrated expertise in constructing user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
  • Proficiency in designing and developing responsive websites
  • Experience utilising debugging tools such as Firebug, Chrome inspector, and similar tools
  • Capability to comprehend CSS modifications and their impact to ensure consistent style across various platforms and browsers
  • Proficiency in translating comprehensive layouts and wireframes into functional HTML pages
  • Strong understanding of PHP back-end development
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication aptitude
  • Adaptable and comfortable working both collaboratively and independently
  • Efficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines
