Web Developer - ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Core, ReactReporting directly to the Development Manager, the Mid-level Developer role is a somewhat experienced role joining the business with a view to creating, extending, maintaining software developed in-house. The ideal candidate will have:* At least 3 years commercial experience* Building new and existing features for company projects and diverse client base* Identifying and suggest upon key areas of improvement throughout the systems* Supporting existing and new developmentsPERSON SPECIFICATIONRequired:* Proven and demonstrable experience with Microsoft .NET technologies including but not limited to ASP.NET MVC (C#), LINQ, Entity Framework, .Net Core* Proven and demonstrable knowledge of SQL and Database Design* Knowledge and experience of other web languages and technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap* Knowledge and experience of deploying to Azure cloud infrastructure using Azure DevOps * Proven experience in designing and consuming Web APIs* Ability to translate client and stakeholder requirements into technical specifications* Ability to solve complex tasks under pressure* Understanding of clean code approaches, design patterns and SOLID principles* Understanding / experience of the software development life cycle* Excellent communication skills* A keen eye for and attention to detail* Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude* Strong organisational skillsDesirable:* Experience of some front-end framework (React, Vue.js, Angular, Blazor, etc)* Experience of (or desire to) develop for mobile devices (Xamarin Forms, Cordova, Java, Swift etc)* Exposure to agile software development, including use of JIRA for defects and incidents* Worked in or have knowledge of the Recruitment / Finance / Payroll / Accounting sector* Able to solve problems on your own but also know when you need to ask questionsPlease get in touch if youd like more info on this opportunity.
