POSITION:Warehouse and Machine OperativeSALARY:Circa £18,000 per annum depending on experience.BENEFITS: Company PensionHOURS: 39 Hours per week. Monday and Friday from 7.00am to 3.00pm,Tuesday to Thursday 7.00am to 3.30pm.LOCATION:M40 8HNOur client is a major force in the rigid body building industry. Established in 1969, the company is renowned for innovations that push the boundaries of commercial vehicle body design. The choice of many of the UKs major fleets, contract hire and rentalcompanies their reputation stands on merit, manufacturing in excess of 50 bodies each week.Due to ongoing success the company is actively recruiting for a Warehouse and Machine Operator to work closely in the warehouse and production facility. This is a fantastic oppourtunity to join one of the best in the business and learn fromskilled and experienced team members to progress within your career by joining a thriving, well established company.The purpose of the role is to ensure that the materials are prepared in a timely fashion ready for distribution to the assembly facility. This role will be a varied role, working across multiple functions, including the operation of Guillotines, Saws, ForkLift Trucks and other machinery preparing stock for customers, getting stock from the warehouse and returning it to storage once complete when required.The candidate will work 39 Hours per week, Monday and Friday from 7.00am to 3.00pm, Tuesday to Thursday 7.00am to 3.30pm. The salary for the role is circa £18,000 per annum depending on experience.About you:

• Forklift Truck (Counterbalance and/or Reach Truck) driving qualification is desirable, however we will offer this training to the right candidate.
• Experience of working in a warehouse environment.
• Some previous experience in the same or a very similar industry.
• You will ideally have experience operating crosscut, bed and band saws, break press & guillotine machines or be ready to receive training for these functions.
• You need to be a fast learner with a passion for accuracy & organisation.
• Able to closely follow instructions & processes.
• You should possess good all-round solid warehouse experience and have a minimum of one years current experience working in a warehouse, be aware of health and safety in this environment, you can be working both inside the warehouse and outside in yard,measuring and cutting so a good level of English is required.

  • Must display a desire to grow with the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• To monitor and maintain pre-set stock levels.
• Keep stores clean, safe & tidy at all times.
• Control & monitor the receipt of goods & documentation, ensure that procedures are carried out accurately.
• Ensure accurate physical checking of deliveries.
• Distribute materials to the workforce on a requisition basis.
• Ensure all warehouse operational activities are carried out in a safe & efficient manner.
• Ensure warehouse records are maintained in a timely & accurate manner.
• Expediting of internal material requisitions to ensure on time delivery to production facility.
