Delivering virtual solutions to organisations that require remote access - with clients including some of the top F1 teams and award-winning architects. You will be working on some truly exciting projects in a forward-thinking, collaborative working environment surrounded by like-minded individuals.The development of its employees is paramount here, so technical accreditations - including the VMware Certified Professional (VCP) Desktop and Mobility certification are actively encouraged to be pursued.The RoleAs a Desktop Virtualisation Consultant working at this ground-breaking organisation you will be involved with a variety of projects including delivering Virtual Apps and Desktops, VR and AI. Having a solid understanding of both the technical and commercial requirements of clients is essential as alongside leading the design and implementation of VMWare Horizon Solutions, you will also be responsible for dealing with clients in pre-sales meetings and pitching the appropriate solutions.The role will predominantly be home based with the occasional need to visit the state-of-the-art office spaces in Cheshire to collaborate with the rest of the team. Client visits will also be required for consultancy and pre-sales meetings.The CandidateThe ideal candidate will be working in a technical lead role with a proven track record in the design and implementation of VMWare Horizon virtual solutions. You will have a deep working understanding of VMWare Horizon 7.X, VMWare vSphere ESXi and vCentre. You will be practised in Windows Server, Citrix, Active Directory, and core network principles such as DNS/DHCP. You will have to be a self-starter, keen to learn and be able to flourish in a fast-paced working environment.Requirements
