Job Description

Due to the expansion of our services, we are looking for an enthusiastic, Trainee Smart Home Electrician to join our dedicated installation team based in the North West. Working to tight deadlines, the successful candidate must be highly motivated processing excellent communication and organisation skills and have the ability to prioritise tasks to see the job through from start to completion. An enthusiastic approach and willingness to learn is paramount.The ideal candidate will have experience first and second fixing, Audio Visual and Smart Home Systems. Experience and good working knowledge of residential AV, Networking, Access Control and CCTV.Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with clients, Architects, Interior Designers, Developers and Project Managers
  • Designing, installing and programming automation systems - primarily Control4
  • Rack building and system commissioning
  • Fault finding
  • Carry out installations within agreed time scales, to required specifications and to budget
  • Client handovers / demonstrations
  • Provide technical support and remote assistance
  • Wired and Wireless network installations
  • Attend project meetings when required
  • Work from and prepare drawings, cable schedules, terminating sheets and work from site plans
  • Follow Project Managers instructions and contribute to engineering solutions on-site
  • Project Management
  • Contract Management
  • (Although most of our work is carried out across the North of England, you will be required to travel across the UK)
