Reporting to the Design Manager, UK&I, you will work closely with our NDC colleagues and assist in the delivery of packaging development and performance review projectsfor major customers.Key tasks:Teamwork Support the UK & I Technical Manager with the laboratory testing required to meet both customer requirements and internal quality standards whilst ensuing all laboratory conditions and equipment are maintainedAnalytical thinking Relate and report numerical data in a format relative to the work requestInnovation/initiative Actively contribute ideas and suggestions when working with colleagues on packaging development projects and support the creation of presentation materialsSelf-development Develop skills to be able to use ArtoisCAD and Graphic packages, maintain supplies for digital printing and stock material It is a pre requisite to be self-motivated and keen to learnCandidate profile Academic - min 5 GSCE (C or above) including Maths and English PLUS a design based qualification at A level or equivalent level Graphic design awareness advantageous Ability to show self-development/continuous development Skills training will be availableMobility: The successful candidate will be required to undertake minimal travelSAICA is an Equal Opportunities employer and welcomes applications from any suitably qualified candidate.
