Job Description

About Us:We are looking for a Technology Procurement and Contracts Negotiator to join our forward-thinking team. Our Technology Procurement team is a mature function at PwC with excellent sponsorship within the business. As a Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our progressive and purpose-led Technology Procurement function that give focus to contemporary supply chain challenges. We are a proud recipients of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) certification of excellence in strategic procurement capability, and we actively support a firm that is transforming its use of technology and technology related services. About the Role: As a Technology Procurement and Contracts Negotiator, you will report directly to the Technology Procurement Leader, presenting an excellent opportunity for career development in a cutting-edge environment. The role is varied with tasks spanning the procurement process. Key responsibilities include facilitating tender exercises, contract management and administration, market reviews, contract preparation and negotiation, technology supply chain management and acting as a trusted business advisor to functional leaders and serviceowners throughout the wider PwC network. Key Areas and Responsibilities of the Role: Risk Management:

  • Lead the negotiation of robust contracts, demonstrating expertise with limited legal counsel input
  • Drive the ongoing development of best practice procurement processes, integrating Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations into the supply chain
Relationship Management:
  • Act as a trusted business advisor to functional leaders and service owners throughout PwC
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to foster effective and appropriate relationships with suppliers
Strategic Sourcing:
  • Manage technology sourcing activities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and values.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience in strategic sourcing, particularly in technology procurement.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to craft robust contracts
  • In-depth understanding of procurement processes and best practices
  • Familiarity with supply chain ESG considerations
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills
  • CIPS certification is highly desirable
