Job Description

Company - Long established, national provider, invests in workforce, long-term serving and high performing national install and service team providing domestic plumbing and heating installations for new build projects and refurbishmentsfrom gas boilers to ASHPs.Location - ManchesterIndustry - Gas Boilers, Plumbing, Heating, Unvented Hot Water, Hot Water Cylinders, MVHR, HIU, Air Source Heat Pumps, ASHPs, Renewables, Unvented Hot Water Systems, Domestic Heating.Benefits - OFF THE TOOLS & OFFICE BASED. Overseeing other plumbing, gas heating and ASHP engineers, advising them on more technically advanced installs (new build and retro fit) and troubleshooting / fault finding and fix on both boilersand heat pumps.Candidate - From within the Plumbing and Heating industry and has qualifications / certifications e.g. BPEC, G3 unvented hot water, Level 2 Plumbing and Heating, Level 3 Plumbing and Heating, Water Regulations, Domestic Gas, F-Gas and ideallygas boiler fault finding, service and maintenance experience and / or ASHP installation or fault find, service and maintenance experience.The PositionThis is a brand-new Plumbing and Heat Pump Technical Engineer position on domestic new build and refurbishment projects has been created due to unprecedented growth working for one of the largest domestic heating and plumbing providers in the UK installingboth boiler and air source heat pumps.As the Technical Engineer you will advise engineers installing and servicing boilers and ASHPs in domestic residential housing covering new build housing developments, social housing schemes including retrofit systems on existing dwellings and also 1 offspec-built projects.The role combines home and office team working managing and overseeing installations, engaging with a variety of clients by phone and computer.If you are looking to take your plumbing and renewable heating install engineering experience to the next career level, technically overseeing and advising others off the tools, with a stable and well-established market leading company, that can offer continuedlong term career advancement / development in gas heating combined with training on renewables such as Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHPs) then please apply now.The Package

  • £38k - £42k salary (depending on experience) with £3k bonus

Experience RequiredIdeally you will have a minimum of 4 years hands on plumbing and domestic heating service and maintenance experience combined with ASHPs, up to date plumbing qualifications and current industry regulation knowledge e.g. BPEC, G3 unvented hot water, Level2 or Level 3 Heating and Plumbing, water regulations, Domestic Gas. F-Gas and Heat Pump Service and Maintenance, fault finding or Installation.
