Job Description Amazing opportunity to work at a Big4 Tech Company as a Tax Analyst! Job Title: Tax Analyst Duration: 9 months (potential for extension) Location: Manchester Working schedule: Hybrid (3 days in the office per week) Salary: £290 per day / £70k per annum (approx) Top 3 responsibilities:
  • Preparation of European (e.g. German) VAT returns, Intrastat (statistical reporting), ECSL lists, Invoice analysis, VAT return filing
  • Analysing the present data
  • P&L, balance sheet and VAT reconciliations
Mandatory requirements:
  • VAT experts (compliance), not financial accountants
  • Strong accounting/reconciliation skills
  • Strong excel skills - pivot, vlookup
  • Ability to time manage and work autonomously
  • 3-5 years of experience in VAT
  • Experience of working in large complex organisation
What you will be working on:
  • Preparation of European (e.g. German) VAT returns and related filings
  • P&L, balance sheet and VAT reconciliations
  • Ad hoc projects
  • Assistance with tax requirement documents
  • Enhancing existing processes
  • Interaction with wider compliance team and VAT advisory team
Expected is to deliver the daily VAT compliance work within the deadlines, file VAT returns & other related obligations before the due date.
