Job Description

Primary DetailsTime Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee Strategic Account Manager - Nationwide opportunity (home/office, flexible) Following sustained and continued growth we have a newly created role for a Strategic Account Manager to join our UK Distribution team. In this role youll be responsible for managing the UK strategic relationship for a panel of emerging Consolidators; buildingstrategic relationships and delivering strategic plans in line with business plans and priorities. Youll partner with brokers across a mixture of accounts, both London Market and regional, to develop key internal and external stakeholder relationships andwork across all lines of business, supporting the UK Business Plan. Part of a well-established and experienced team youll be working in a supportive, empowered environment. Your New Role:

  • Responsible for SME and consolidator strategic relationships and broker network development, delivering strategic plans in line with business plans and priorities for UK
  • Monitor and report on progress of the SME, consolidator and Network broker plans (new business, product density and renewal retention), to ensure progress is on target, and to identify any underperformance on new business, renewal retention, & on-goingactions
  • Align key stakeholders across these relationships in order to align across teams and QBE core functions in order to support plan delivery
  • Collaborate with the wider Distribution and Partnership Management team to ensure activity is aligned to wider QBE strategy
  • Co-ordinate relevant briefing papers and presentations for meetings/conferences, and present information when necessary on activity with brokers.
  • Attend and, where relevant, lead internal strategic & distribution meetings, broker workshops and external Network and broker meetings
  • Production of internal & external broker communications including broker newsletters/market reports working in conjunction with Marketing Business Partner
About You:
  • Insurance or wider Financial Services experience with an account management or related role
  • Clear relationship skills with the ability to navigate and partner closely with clients
  • Ability to present to Executives and engage effectively with senior stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Highly effective communication both verbal and written with the ability to build and maintain productive internal and external relationships
  • Good organisation skills including work planning and ability to prioritize for both self and the team
