This role comes with an attractive salary range of £22,000 - £26,000, basedon your experience. The successful candidate will be entrusted with the management of commercial properties, ensuring top-notch service in all building and tenant-related matters. This includes Health and Safety compliance, FM delivery, regular client reportingand liaising with contractors, suppliers and external consultants.* Attractive salary of £22,000 - £25,000 depending on experience* Vibrant work environment in Manchester City Centre* Chance to manage commercial properties and ensure high service standardsWhat youll do:As our new Facilities Assistant, you will be at the heart of managing commercial properties while ensuring top-tier service is consistently delivered. You will be instrumental in maintaining tenant engagement and fostering relationships to bolster wider assetmanagement strategies. Your role will also involve supporting the Director in Asset Management initiatives and professional instructions. You will assist the Property & Facilities Manager in delivering planned, reactive, and cyclical maintenance while ensuringtotal compliance with Health & Safety regulations. Your responsibilities will also encompass managing annual Health & Safety assessments, conducting regular property inspections, and administering leases.* Manage client-owned properties to the highest possible standards, in line with budgets, service level agreements and regulatory requirements* Maintain tenant engagement and enhance relationships to support wider asset management strategies* Support the Director in Asset Management initiatives and professional instructions* Assist the Property & Facilities Manager in the delivery of planned, reactive and cyclical maintenance* Ensure total compliance in respect of Health & Safety and statutory legislation throughout all properties* Manage annual Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessments, as well as Asbestos Management* Complete regular inspections of properties, meeting contractors, suppliers, tenants, and clients* Administer leases, licences and other documentationWhat you bring:The ideal candidate for this Facilities Assistant role will have proven experience in facilities administration or a similar role. You should have a strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and excellent communication skills to liaise effectivelywith various stakeholders. Your ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail will be crucial for this role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) Outlook for written communications is required.
