Job Description

Tech Essentials (must haves)

  • Experience with UI manual testing
  • Little Experience with API manual testing
  • Ability to represent test in scrum meetings
  • Experience in agile
  • Knowledge of different types of testing
  • Experience in manual regression testing
Tech Desirables
  • Postman experience
  • Database experience

  • Knowledge of the testing pyramid

Responsibilities skills
  • Manual regression testing
  • Feature testing tickets
  • Identifying processes within the team that have gaps for improvement
  • Linking in with other teams on testing
  • Making sure to follow best practices for testing
  • Documenting in the test team space
  • Collaborating with myself & product team testing processes to help move teams forward together
  • Attending product team ceremonies, inputting from the test discipline
  • Attending test team meetings & providing feedback & updates on progress in teams
Team Integration
  • Works closely with the product teams within area
  • Works with testers within product teams
  • Represents test discipline in scrum meetings
Day to day
  • Testing of tickets
  • Regression testing when it is requested
  • Being present & participating in scrum meetings
  • Reviewing test processes with test lead & tech lead of team
  • Working with Developers and Product Owners, help upskill their testing knowledge
