Our retail team has been busy building the foundations of our in-store tech to make our retail colleagues lives easier and are now turning their attention to the future. Our goal is an engaging, seamless and consistent experience for our customers, giving them choice at every step. Were looking for java developers to join our progressive, supportive and forward-thinking company, and to help us reach our goal.You will be joining a small, focused development team that develops our business-critical point-of-sale software and associated suite of services. This is an opportunity to help define the future of our in-store software and supporting cloud services. The team prides itself on working closely together, sharing knowledge and providing innovative solutions to meet business needs.Our team is passionate about what they do and how they go about working through problems and solutions. The key skills for this role are an excellent core knowledge of Java, an ability to learn new skills, to adopt to new technologies (e.g. serverless, cloud computing, front-end frameworks), to communicate effectively with the team and with the wider tech department.
