Job Description

Job Profile for Site Manager - SW211244Our client, a Main Contractor, are seeking a Site Manager to join them on a one year project in central Manchester. The project is due to start on 1st October 2022 and has a program time running until 31st September 2023. The role will involve convertingand extending 3 existing warehouse units into more units with additional stories.The scope of works will include:

  • Metal Deck & Concrete Upper Floors
  • Steel Frame
  • Metal Roofing & Cladding
  • Brickwork & Blockwork Ground to 1st Floor
  • Internal block party walls & partitions
  • Precast Concrete Staircases
  • Aluminium Glazed Shop Fronts and Roller Shutters
  • Internal Doors & Frames
  • No Fit-Out
  • Drainage
  • External Roads/Car Parking/Paving
It is envisaged the successful candidate will have prior experience on industrial projects, hold all relevant qualifications include, CSCS Mangers cars, SMSTS certificate and a first aid certificate. The Site Manager will also need to complete their ownsetting out.Site Manager Position Overview

  • Salary: £1100 per week (all in)

  • Project: Warehouse conversion & Extension
  • Reporting to: Contracts Manager
  • Working hours: 7:30 to 16:30hrs Monday to Thursday and 7:30 to 16:00 hrs Friday
Site Manager Position Requirements
  • SMSTS certificate, CSCS Managers card & First Aid Certificate
  • Based within commuting distance of Central Manchester
  • Prior working on Industrial type buildings
  • Capable of doing own "setting out" from coordinates and non-reliance on Engineers setting out.
  • Looking to complete a 1 year contract on a self-employed basis (can be extended depending on performance and projects)
  • Must be able to provide references from the last two years

Site Manager Position Remuneration
  • £1100 paid weekly on a self-employed basis (direct from the client)
