Job Description

The Company:Service Engineer

  • Part of a wider group of companies that are involved in the manufacturer and servicing of fluid handling equipment used in the commercial and industrial sectors.
  • Progression to Service Manager available with full training provided.
  • Long standing employers.
  • Support network across the country.
  • Home based role with travel across the North West of the UK.
  • Candidates MUST be fully vaccinated as many of the customers are care homes.
The Role:Service Engineer
  • Perform hands-on on-site servicing, troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Provide and assist with on-site installation and commissioning of equipment.
  • Maintaining accurate data using a mobile device (customer, asset & contract information).
  • Timely complete and submit all required paperwork.
  • Working on clean water applications.
  • Communicate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective actions and to ensure accurate information is passed to Service Administrators/Project.
  • Sales/Management for any follow up.
  • Provide onsite training and passing down technical knowledge to colleagues.
  • £33k-£38k Overtime, Van, Mobile, 20 days holiday, rising to 25, Pension, Profit Share Scheme
The Ideal Person:Service Engineer
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of all manufacturers and types of water booster sets and pressurisation equipment.
  • Electrical or mechanical qualification.
  • UK Driving Licence.
  • Organised and self-motivated.
  • Good time keeping.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Customer focused.
  • A pleasant and friendly can do attitude.
  • Asbestos awarenesstraining provided.
  • Confined space trainedtraining provided.
  • CSCS Cardtraining provided.
  • CNSG Health and Safety Passporttraining provided.
