Job Description

As we grow so is our finance team. We are recruiting for a newly created role for a Service Charge Accounts Manager to join the team.Role Summary:This role will manage the Service Charge Accounts Team ensuring that all service charge accounts and quarterly reports are undertaken according to internal and industry standard timescales and expectationsIn return offering a competitive salary, 27 day holiday plus your birthday as an extra day off, hybrid working and so much more.Responsibilities as ourService Charge Accounts Manager will include:

  • Day-to-day management of the Service Charge Accounts team
  • Support to Property Team with service charge accounts related queries
  • Oversee the production of all annual service charge accounts for all block management properties (including PRS sites)
  • Oversee the production of all quarterly reports produced for the Property Managers, in line with deadlines
  • Responsible for set up of all new properties on Qube, including liaising with previous agents for the handover information
  • Responsible for all hand overs to new agents as and when required in accordance with ARMA guidelines
  • Responsible for the calculation of all void costs for developers, the timely collection of all void payments and the client relationship with Developers
  • Integration with the Mobilisation and Change Team for the set-up of all new properties on Qube
  • Responsible for all Service Charge billing across the portfolio
  • Responsible for the input of all Service Charge Budgets to Qube
  • Responsible for the Annual ARMA and ARLA audits
  • Ensure key KPIs are met and strong partnership and customer service skills are displayed by the team
The ideal candidate will have:
  • AAT qualified (minimum)
  • Knowledge of QubePM
  • Previous service accounts experience
  • An understanding of leasehold property accounting
  • Excellent people management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work on own initiative and manage own workload to strict deadlines
  • Analytical with good attention to detail and numeracy skills
  • Strong IT skills (Excel)
