Senior Structural Design Engineer - ManchesterA great opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer with 5 years plus Building Design experience who is keen to progress their knowledge and skills by joining a highly technical and experienced team of award winning, Chartered Structural Engineers.Our client is a 1000 strong Architectural and Multi-Discipline Consulting Engineering practice with offices across the UK and Internationally. Renowned for their high level of technical ability, innovative design solutions and commitment to sustainability.The team are very busy delivering landmark projects across the Healthcare, Higher Education, Retail, Commercial and Leisure sectors, ranging from £10 Million - £1Billion.Reasons to Join:

Key responsibilities

• Design of projects from the concept stage through to the construction stage
• Preparing and reviewing technical reports and specifications
• Complying with Health and Safety and CDM Regulations
• Support in the management and development of team members
• Development of client relationships
• Developing good relationships with professions across BDP and external consultants
• You will have good communication skills, be self-organised, have a passion for structural design, enjoy working within a motivated team, and have an enthusiasm for architecture and building design.
• Experience of Tekla Structures, TEDDS, Staad PRO and Scia would be beneficial, alongside working within a BIM environment.
