Job Description

Senior Software EngineerHybrid WorkingUp to £65k On behalf of our growing client based in Manchester, we are recruiting a talented Senior Software Engineer. As Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key part of their development team, focused on delivering customer solutions on the Angular-Microsoft stack.The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Developing testable, bug-free & scalable code following SOLID principles and coding best practices.
  • Contributing to the planning, architecture, design, and specification of web applications.
  • Understanding the capabilities of the businesss stock application and how it can be used to deliver standard application features.
  • Using knowledge and experience to advise on improvements to the process and product.
  • Working with the design team to advise on the feasibility, practicality, and risk of proposed designs.
  • Working with the delivery team to deliver projects to a high standard and to defined timescales and budgets.
  • Extending, enhancing and identifying gaps in the support documentation for the delivery team
The Senior Software Engineer will have the following:
  • Commercial development experience building scalable web applications on the Microsoft stack with excellent C# and SQL
  • Experience developing Angular Single Page Applications (SPA) including: TypeScript; Reactive forms; RxJS Observables; Custom validation; Package management; Transclusion; Templates; Dynamic component loading; Webpack.
  • Excellent understanding of Object Orientated Programming, SOLID principles, Design Patterns and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and fault diagnosis skills.
  • Very good understanding of secure development practices (OWASP)
