Job Description

Are you an experienced Software Developer, looking to take a step into an R&D based organisation, working on cutting-edge and UK-critical programmes of work Interested in helping shape technical strategy, and mentoring the junior work force for the futureA unique opportunity for a Senior/Principal Software Developer (Full Stack, Java or Python) to work as a Team Lead within a truly innovative environment. You will be technically hands-on, working on high profile National Security solutions.First and foremost, a genuine passion for Software is needed. Additionally, wed love Software specialists to:

  • Be polygot! Enthusiasm to continuously progress and up-skill into a variety of programming languages - and up-skill the Junior Devs
  • Experience of deploying Software systems to a mixture of environments, including public (AWS & Azure) and private cloud
  • Full Software Lifecycle involvement
  • Technologies could include: Java, Python, Springboot, Kubernetes, Docker
Coupled with a strong hands-on technical skillset, this role also requires the individual to be client-focused, and engaging with the ability to be face of the organisation, building strong senior Customer relationships. You will be the technical go-to,leading the strategic technical direction and building Teams. (All whilst being able to get into the weeds!)Due to the sensitive nature of this work, SC & DV cleararance will be sponsored.
