We strongly believe in good software craftsmanship, sound engineering principles, DevOps and automation.Come and join us on our amazing new digital journey, as we continue to build super cool and cutting edge products to ensure that BEAUTY BAY is THE go to destination for beauty lovers worldwide."What’s the role and what tech will I be usingFirst and foremost, you will be responsible for the development and innovation of new ways of testing to improve product quality and reliability across our Mobile & Web platforms.You’ll be our go to person for both automation and manual testing within our fast paced technology team helping to diagnose, reproduce and fix issues found by internal users and customers, so a cool head, easy going attitude and an ability to talk technical to non-technical people is a must. You will be the top of the food chain in the QA team so it’s on you to continue to strive for excellence and innovation in this space!Day to Day, you’ll be a tech leader, whilst still being expected to be hands on writing, scripting and implementing automation frameworks heavily using Javascript as the primary technology and utilising frameworks such as CypressIO, Detox and Supertest.Alongside the designing and writing of automation scripts, you will be testing new and existing Web APIs, neatly tucked in with a spot of manual testing from time to time.BEAUTY BAY is a 24/7 always on business and as such we need to make sure all our platforms are robust and can stand up to what our customers throw at them, as such the ownership and development of realistic load testing will form a significant part of this role, are you up for the challengeRoles & Responsibilities in summary:
