In line with these plans, they require an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join them from theirnewly acquired offices in the centre of Manchester."This is an exciting time to join us, as we build an international technology team to accelerate the pace of value delivery to Awaze Vacation Rentals.     • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and drive a superb customer journey for the business’ guests, owners, and 3rd party distribution partners through innovative technology solutions
  • Proactively craft a business strategy that supports your team’s delivery goals whilst also aligning with the brand’s key ethos
  • Facilitate the continued retention of end customers through regular deliveries of high-quality software
  • Periodically evaluate the effectiveness of the group QA test strategy/process and offer suggestions as to how to improve efficiency
  • Learn and adapt new technologies and introduce new testing tools to the project
  • Write automated tests to ensure non-functional requirements are maintained
  • Position yourself as an integral figure within Awaze through active participation in the wider tech community

  • University Degree, preferably in Computer Science or related discipline
  • Understanding of search platforms and technologies (ELK, Solr)
  • Thorough insight into AWS (or GCP) infrastructures and managed service environments
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
  • Exemplary experience in working within an agile delivery team, using Scrum and/or Kanban to deliver incremental business value through frequent software releases
  • Demonstrable experience in Automation and manual testing
  • Previous background in writing scripts and utilising test automation tools (preferably Selenium)
  • Experience working and delivering in an online, transactional environment
