Job Description

A growing global organisation based in Manchester is on the lookout for a Senior MI Developer to lead their BI & Reporting team. As the go-to person for technical leadership, you will manage a small team of developers to deliver first-class reporting andanalytics solutions.Title: Senior MI DeveloperLocation: ManchesterTerms: Permanent, Full TimeSalary: £60,000 - £75,000 + PackageWork Pattern: Hybrid, 2/3 days p/w Key Responsibilities as a Senior MI Developer:

  • Lead and manage a team of developers, providing technical guidance.
  • Drive the transition of reporting capabilities to Azure and adopt Agile delivery.
  • Oversee the redevelopment of the reporting suite in Azure.
  • Get involved in the hiring, training, and mentoring of developers, ensuring they have appropriate learning paths.
  • Identify and implement improvements in team processes and standards.
  • Plan, track, and manage development activities in collaboration with project managers and scrum masters.
  • Foster effective communication between team members and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the business to understand the needs.
  • Ensure new analytic and reporting solutions are tested and documented.
Skills and Experience:
  • Proven line management experience within reporting and analytics.
  • Technical expertise in advanced AAS/SSAS (Tabular) data model.
  • Strong Microsoft Azure, Power BI, DAX and T-SQL.
  • Previous experience in Financial Services or Insurance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Stakeholder Engagement at all levels.
