Job Description

Senior Java Developer - MongoDB / AWSManchester£70-80k You have a fantastic opportunity to join an established, market leading, digital consultancy as a Java or Senior Java Developer, working on a variety of digital transformation projects for a wide and high-profile portfolio of new and existing clients.My client helps organisations deliver transformative digital solutions by combining their appreciation and understanding of new and emerging technologies with experience delivering complex enterprise solutions for some of the worlds biggest organisations.Generally, my client is interested in speaking to people with a subset of the following technology/skills:

  • Solid foundation of Java 8+ and ideally having Java 11/14 and OpenJDK experience.
  • MongoDB development.
  • Good understanding of Maven or Gradle.
  • Thorough understanding of Spring especially: Spring Boot, Spring Framework Spring Security.
  • Additional languages or front-end skills is a plus though not directly required.
  • Experience working with Azure. AWS experience an advantage but not essential.
  • Nice to have experience working with Spring Data, Spring Cloud, Redis, Eureka, Zuul.
  • Familiarity with RESTful WebServices APIs, Spring MVC, Tomcat/Jetty, OpenID Connect, OAuth2
  • Experience of microservices architecture.
  • DevOps: Some experience in Docker or Kubernetes / AKS.
