We are now recruiting for our well-established freight forwarding client a Senior freight forwarding Imports Clerk based at Manchester Airport. Now due to expansion we are looking to add to the Freight Operations team at Manchester Airport a Freight Imports professional. This is a great opportunity to join a privately held freight forwarding business. They have the vision and passion of any major blue-chip business but are a privately-owned freight forwarder. Providing multimodal logistics solutions to a wide range of industries across the globe. They are global business and offer a great team working environment Responsibilities · You will be dealing with all aspects of air and ocean freights movement from start to finish · To complete customs entries and associated documents in a timely manner to ensure the smooth movement of consignments.· You will be required to deal with all air and ocean import documentation.· Liaise with hauliers/ shipping lines / Airlines to organise transportation· Liaison with overseas agents with regards to the Bookings.Person * Experience of Freight Imports with a good understanding of Ocean and or air Imports, can hit the ground running* Customs entries * A strong team player capable of working as an individual or in a team environment * Excellent Freight Forwarding Skills Benefits* Salary up to £35,000 * 24 days holiday a year plus bank holidays* Excellent training and career opportunities Required skills
