Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior HR Adviser to join a largely established prestigious law firm in the heart of the city centre.As a senior HR adviser you will be reporting to the HR Director, the Senior HR Advisor will play a crucial role in supporting the firms HR function. You will work closely with senior management and departments across the offices to attract, retain, and developtop talent while upholding the firms values and culture.Experience within a legal background would be desirable but not essential.Responsibilities and Duties include:

  • Provide HR advice and support to assigned internal client groups
  • Address various HR matters including performance, conduct, and flexible working requests
  • Inform HR priorities and plans based on insights gained from interactions
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team to deliver operational activities
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes
  • Assist with HR-related assessments and benefits administration
Skills and Qualifications Required:
  • Professional qualification (e.g., CIPD Level 5 or equivalent)
  • 2-3 years of HR experience, ideally as an HR Adviser
  • Strong Employee Relations skills with practical application
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and best practices
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity
