Job Description

Right Now Group are currently partnered with a large Air Freight organisation that are looking to recruit a Senior Customer Service Agent based at their MANCHESTER facility near the Airport.This position is ideal for a candidate who has a knowledge of the Air freight market, is a Team Player and willing to assist within all aspects of the day to day duties of the branch. Location: ManchesterShift: Monday - FridayHours: 09:00 - 17:30Salary: £24,000 - £26,000Annual Leave: 25 days annual leaveKey Responsibilities of a Senior Customer Service Agent:

  • Liaising with the local customer base assisting with enquiries.
  • Insert bookings into the internal bespoke system.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers with an excellent standard of customer service.
  • Completion of export documents, including MAWBs, HAWBs, customs entries and invoices.
  • Liaise with Airlines and GSAs to negotiate rates.
  • Complete audits when required to a high standard
  • Responding to customer complaints in a professional manner.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be pro-active.
  • Attention to detail.
  • A high level of communication both written and verbal.
  • Excellent telephone manner, being able to deal with high call volumes.
  • The ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
Desirable:
  • Level CO security (Training will be provided).
  • Microsoft Office skills including Excel & Word.
