With the model of the current Accountancy Practice Group, the Managing Partner is looking to recruit individuals across the North West to succeedinto Director/partner positions in the near future.Client DetailsMichael Page are working with a large Accountancy Practice based in Manchester. Maintaining a successful period of growth, this firm is keeping an independent family feel to clients as well as supporting and enable employees and technology development.DescriptionTo be the point of contact for all client liaison.Meeting clients to discuss their accounts and audit affairs. Provide advisory services as appropriate.Lead audits. Most audit work is done by staffManage personal Audit staff.Advise clients on areas of business improvement.Participate in regular appraisal of the staff.Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.ProfileThe successful Senior Audit Manager will have an accounting qualification - either ACA or ACCA.Ability to manage a team both in person and virtuallyThis person will be able to multi-task and be a key point of contact for clientsAccounting, Tax, reporting skills, time management, ethics, supervision/management skills, Word/Excel, audit, accounting, and tax packages.Working knowledge of IRIS and Caseware preferable but not essential.The individual should have attention to detail, deadline-oriented and keen on research.Job OfferA very Competitive package - £55k - £65kOpportunity for progression to Partner.Extensive Benefits Package
