Job Description

Senior Application Support Engineer2 days a month on site in either the Manchester or London officeMy client - a leading Education company - are looking for an Application Support engineer with AWS and Linux server experience, to join their team and own and lead on all support avtivitiesResponsibilities:

  • Provide application runtime, software debugging and general technical support and management to business-critical applications
  • To act as the technical expert for identified applications, sharing knowledge as appropriate and owning product upgrade roadmaps and schedules.
  • To support business strategy through the continuous improvement and provision of application services through multiple methodologies including real-time monitoring and software patching
Essentials:
  • Good working knowledge of supporting virtual and AWS-based technologies such as Lambda, Serverless, Microservices, CloudWatch, EC2, RDS , Cloud Formation
  • Good working experience and knowledge of Linux, Apache, Tomcat, GraphQL and Postman
  • Good working experience and knowledge of APIs
