This company is ideally positioned to handle international ocean and air movements from all around the globe.Providing both import and export services, the companies professional staff provide advice on achieving the best possible International transport solutions for individual customers.Due to continued expansion and development our client is now looking for a Seafreight Imports professional to be based at their facility in Wythenshawe. Your role will involve the handling the sea imports cycle and will include taking bookings, quoting clients, completing documentation, inputting details onto the system. Liasing with other offices and agents both in the UK and overseas reporting any discrepancies or specific requirementsYou will arrange with approved hauliers for transport of cargo and agree prices where no tariff exists to maximise cost effectiveness. Prepare correct documentation to the Haulage//Shipping department for loading in a timely manner. Perform and correctly implement General Administration, e.g. invoicing; filing; queries; claims; check costs in accordance with departmental requirementsWe are looking for applying candidates with experience in sea imports from a freight forwarding background. You must be IT literate and have good customer and administrative skills.To be considered for this post you must have an imports background gained from a freight forwarder. You must be extremely flexible in your approach, with excellent communication skills.Salary/Benefits £27,000 - £35,000Pension Holidays + Benefits
