Job Description

Our Contingent Workforce Solutions (CWS) is one of our service offerings; we actas an extension of our clients recruitment team and provide professional interim and temporary resources.Job description - the roleOur client, a major UK retail bank, provides every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Resource Manager for a 4-month long contract (remote with occasional travel to either Manchester/Edinburgh).Purpose of the Role:

  • This role is supporting a busy Portfolio of multiple change programmes and projects. Working in a team of four alongside the Portfolio Lead and Portfolio Analysts, you will support the Portfolio, its stakeholders and wider business to provide all aspectsof resource management.
As a Resource Manager, you will:
  • Deal with all aspects of contingent recruitment
  • Chair weekly governance calls, ensuring everyone understands the rules around resourcing and these rules are being followed
  • Monitor challenges around rate cards / location etc. that may arise
  • Prepare monthly headcount reports - analyse data, interpret trends etc.
  • Utilise Fieldglass
  • Support the portfolio with ad hoc tasks
What we require from the candidate:
  • Knowledge and understanding of resourcing processes regarding contingent workforce
  • Good stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Vendor Management System experience
  • The ability to collate and present reports
  • The ability to use MS Office suite
  • Experience with raising purchase orders and admin
  • Problem-solving skills and proactive attitude
