Regional Sales Manager - Steel Roofing & CladdingJob Title: Regional Sales Manager - Steel Roofing & CladdingIndustry Sector: Steel Roofing, Cladding, Roof Profiles, Wall Profiles, Fabrication, Steel Panelling, Panelling, Fixings, Fastenings, Curtain Walling, Sealants, Profile Sheeting, Rooflights, Agricultural, Construction, Industrial, Roofing Contractors, SteelErectors, Regional Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Business Development ManagerArea to be covered: North & Scotland (ideally based M62 Corridor)Remuneration: Up to £50,000 (dependent upon experience) + 20-30% bonusBenefits: company car or car allowance & standard benefits packageCompany: Family-owned business, established as a market leader in the sector for over 40 yearsThe role of the Regional Sales Manager - Steel Roofing & Cladding will involve:

  • Regional Sales Manager position selling a high-quality manufactured range of steel roofing & cladding systems such as: profiled roof & wall sheets, specialist fabrications, composite panelling, flat sheets and associated products
  • Primarily a B2B proposition, targeting the construction, agricultural, industrial & commercial end user markets
  • The majority of your time will be spent selling to main contractors, large roofing contractors, sub-contractors, cladders, steel erectors etc
  • Will have a much smaller interaction with merchants, distributors and specifiers, however the merchants channel is something our client wants to explore
  • Dealing with large scale projects such as: agricultural sheds, storage / warehouse units, commercial building and holiday sites along with many other potential options for this versatile product range
  • Will have both key account management and new business responsibilities
  • Revenue targets will be based from the current established customer base with ongoing growth expectations
  • Will work closely with fantastic well established internal sales team
The ideal applicant will be an Regional Sales Manager - Steel Roofing & Cladding with:
  • Must have building envelope field sales experience such as: roofing, cladding, profiles, insulation, fixings, rooflights, drylining, curtain walling, glazing etc
  • Must have experience selling to the construction, agricultural, industrial & commercial markets
  • Ideally from a steel roofing & cladding background however not essential
  • Would consider someone working within a roofing merchant wanting to take a step into field sales
  • Must be dynamic with a get up and go attitude
  • Must have genuine desire to learn and expand your career
  • Numerate and IT literate
  • Genuine hunger, desire to achieve goals and an analytical approach
  • Ability to work as part of a team, and liaise with the senior management team
